Tempo clean pull11/25/2023 ![]() Working from a deficit in clean variations and snatch exercises helps to improve technique and "cure" many technical mistakes: ![]() Otherwise, there won't be many benefits of such an exercise. This is especially true for snatch pulls: the load should be selected so that the athlete can work with normal biomechanics and movement speed. With regard to the selection of the correct load and weight, if the athlete is not able to perform technically correctly, the load must be reduced. ![]() The specificity of pulls from a deficit is that even when working with a weight of 90%, recovery is much longer than from common ones. It is most rational to plan this work during the preparatory period when athletes are developing the basis for a new result. In weightlifting, both strength exercises (snatch and clean pulls) and dynamic ones: clean and snatch exercises are performed from a deficit. But using this method shows excellent results! ![]() In our training programs aimed at increasing the strength potential, this method is widely used!Īs already mentioned, all deficit exercises are inconvenient and disgusting. The most practical benefits of working from deficit are increased strength, balance, and control in the starting position, which are essential for a strong and safe pull. By increasing the strength and quality of movement at a greater amplitude, greater inclusion of muscle fibers is also provided, which subsequently leads to an increase in the result in competitive exercises. Deficit training forces the athlete to push the barbell from very closed joint angles, which in itself makes the movement much more difficult. The powerful acceleration of the barbell in the pull is an essential condition for a quality snatch and clean. Working in "such angles" with a greater amplitude forces the athlete to develop and maintain maximum tension in the muscles of the lower back, which subsequently results in the development of strength in the back muscles. The correct and safe execution of the pull movement is impossible with a weak lower back and back line of the torso. Greater flexion of the hip joints and, accordingly, a lower starting position results in a greater forward bend of the trunk. Strengthening the lower back and the entire back line of the trunk.Greater flexion in the knee joint provides more extension and involvement of the quads. The starting position forces the athlete to bend the hip, knee, and ankle joints more, which in turn increases the range of motion. One of the reasons for its effectiveness is the increased load on the leg muscles. ![]() Pulls from a deficit is a must-have exercise in both weightlifting and powerlifting. Increase the strength of the leg muscles. So now we will discuss why this method is worth trying for every athlete, what stage of preparation it is desirable to practice it in a training program and what are the general benefits of deficit training? This increases the range of motion and turns common exercises into absolutely killer and highly effective exercises.ĭeficit training is a must for athletes with a weak lower back who have difficulty during the lift off or simply lack the overall physical strength and power to accelerate the barbell in the first pull. Most often in weightlifting, an increase in TUT occurs due to tempo variations (slow movement, fast up - slowly down) and the addition of pauses in different phases of movement Obviously, when an athlete does a barbell exercise for 60 seconds instead of 20 seconds, it will create additional stress. Contributes to an increase in its performance, as well as the release of its own anabolic hormones (testosterone and growth hormone). ![]()

Present ir verb endings spanish11/25/2023 ![]() ![]() With that in mind, when you talk about hypothetical situations in the present, you use only the simple present indicative in Spanish. The “present” in Spanish encompasses much more than it does in English. Remember, even when you talk about events in the near future in Spanish, you use the present tense. However, in Spanish, we don’t use that title because the tenses are much simpler. In English grammar, we call this type of sentence the 1st Conditional. These activities do not have to be set in stone but are considered to still be within the realm of the “present,” hence why you use the simple present indicative. Just like how you can use the simple present indicative for current actions, you can also apply it to events happening soon. I’m going to the store to buy a little bit of sugar. Voy a la tienda para comprar un poco de azúcar. You can often hear native speakers using the simple present indicative to talk about the activities they are currently doing. ![]() Meanwhile, in Spanish, both types of questions are appropriate: ¿Qué estás haciendo? and ¿Qué haces? can be used interchangeably. Using the simple present “What do you do?” has a completely different meaning. However, in Spanish, you can use either the present continuous or the simple present indicative.įor example, a common question in English is “What are you doing?” which is in the present continuous form. When you talk about actions happening right now in English, you use the present continuous: Now, this is where the simple present tense starts to differ from English. (If you would like more explanation about this particular use, check out Part Three of our Future Tenses in Spanish blog post.)Įl avión aterriza a las 9:04 de la mañana el martes. While it may seem backward to use the simple present tense to talk about events in the future, we actually use it quite often in English and Spanish. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west.Įl agua se congela a los cero grados Celsius. Likewise, we use simple present in both languages to talk about general truths (including the zero conditional for all you English grammar aficionados).Įl sol sale en el este y se pone en el oeste. I always read a chapter from my book before sleeping. Siempre leo un capítulo de mi libro antes de dormir. Just like in English, we use the simple present indicative to talk about habitual activities in Spanish. Now, for the simple present indicative in Spanish, we use it for these three uses and more! (If you want to skip to the conjugations, scroll down below the uses!) How Spanish Uses the Simple Present Indicative 1. To understand the uses of the simple present indicative, we are going to first look at some examples of the simple present in English and then compare them to the Spanish form.įrom these sentences, you can see that we use the simple present in English for From now on, we will use the term “simple present indicative” to refer to this tense just to get you in the practice of differentiating between the moods and to avoid any confusion. Therefore, when talking with your HSA Spanish teacher, make sure to use el presente del indicativo to ask questions about the simple present. So, while “simple present tense” refers to one specific thing in English, it includes two separate tenses in Spanish. For now, that’s all you need to know stay tuned for another blog post that explores the differences between the moods more extensively. Interestingly, both the indicative and subjunctive moods have a simple present tense. Spanish tenses are divided into three different moods: While you may want to refer to it as el presente simple, there are actually two different presente simple tenses in Spanish. In Spanish, the simple present is called el presente del indicativo. While the term “simple present” seems to imply that this tense is uncomplicated, there are a few things that may come as a surprise to you. ![]() The Simple Present Tense What’s in a Name? You probably don’t think about which verbs you use and how to conjugate them in everyday speech, right? Now, with a new language (especially one like Spanish), it probably seems that grammar is all you think about! Macos ventura avis11/24/2023 ![]() ![]() This year's M2 Max-based 16-inch Pro came in at 1,789.85 MBps, which represents being one second behind. The 14-inch laptop copied 25GB of files at a rate of 1,917.69 MBps, tied with the previous-gen 16-incher. It's a nice jump over the M1 Max we tested back in 2021, as well as the Intel Core i7-12700H in the Dell XPS 15 (9520), though we haven't seen what Intel's 13th Gen Core mobile processors can do just yet. On Geekbench 5, the M2 Max-based laptop won with a single-core score of 1,993 and a multi-core score of 15,173, with the M2 Pro just a few points behind. Needless to say, both machines were overkill for my workload, which involves lots of web browsing for research, writing and photo editing, often with music and social media apps in the background and some light gaming (I still leave my intense gaming to PC and consoles.) Apple claims the updated architecture allows for 200 GB/s of bandwidth on M2 Pro and up to 400 GB/s on M2 Max.
